A low-cost English medium secondary school run by a local NGO offering internationally recognized IGSCE exams for English speaking migrants and refugees. The center currently has 32 students but will be moving to a larger facility which will enable it to expand. The aim is for a professional principal to coach national graduates foreign teachers and volunteers to ensure they will teach with the IGCSE exams in mind.
The principal needs to be an educator networker independent manager fundraiser and an administrator.The center uses the British curriculum so familiarity with it is expected. The principal needs to supervise both upper primary and secondary level educators. He or she will be a native or near-native English speaker. Knowledge of some Arabic will be an advantage.The principal will have skills for networking with educational institutions publishers and potential funders in order to realize the vision. The principal needs to develop maintain and expand a good administration system to meet the requirements of the center.This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
The principal will be a visionary leader who can develop the learning center supervise its daily operations and help with fundraising. They will view this position as a ministry rather than a career step.They must be a committed Christian who is able to work with different church denominations in the Arab World and with muslims.
